Well for all those with a car on the Turanot, I can confirm it is now docked at Port Newark - I can see it from my apartment window.

I look forward to this particular form of insanity in about six weeks, when my E90 is working it's way to my driveway. I'm a detail guy, so I will keep this thread handy.

Great information!

Pictures of the Turandot

Well here are two pictures of the Turandot in Port Newark.

They are not good photos but were shot from my apartment in downtown Manhattan using s 750mm lens in very hazy conditions.

Enjoy

Wow! Thanks for the pics!

I think you need to clean the lens or sensor on your camera though, unless you have big blobs of tar raining form the sky.

I think I saw my car!

Yes I know I need to clean the sensor on my Nikon D1x. I normally only use it for underwater photography (www.digitaloceans.net) and the dust does not normally show.

Need to send it to Nikon for a service.

Glad you could spot your car

Nice bling camera! I've heard bad things about sending to Melville (ask alee), even though it's closer than Torrence,CA. You may want to consider sending it there.

Sorry, Larry, that's NOT your car. I checked the VIN on the window. It's mine!
