Mine arrived at the port on the same day and still hasn't hit the dealer.

Tim maybe yours wasn't a Priority 1 (sold)?

I ordered two 330i's from Russel BMW. I ordered myn on May 13th and took delivery on June 7th. My sister ordered her's on May 23rd and will take delivery tomorrow. These were both special orders, not one already in production or in transit. Once the car hits the port they generally say 3-5 days if the car is Priority One. To answer your question, I would say 8 weeks is pretty much conservitive or optimistic.

The Certificate Of Origin is needed before it can be registered and titled, and it needs to be paid for.

The good news is that I am now driving a loaner. It's a 325xi with 130 miles on the clock

I ordered from Northwest BMW on June 7th (Not D.C, but Baltimore- prettymuch the same thing for the sake of this discussion). My car arived in NY today 7/9. I am not sure when exactly i am going to take delivery, but I tam guessing 7-10 days, which should make the whole process more like 6 to 7 weeks.

Everyones expereince is a bit different though and there are anumber of variables that cant be controlled.

It is actually an ED car, so it should be priority 1. Anyways, hopefully it'll arrive next week and I can have it by the weekend.
