xi and Tourings

Anyone knwo which permutations will be available in the future? Bmw.usa only list the 325xi Wagon.

I'm going to be in a family way soon and I think I would love a 330xi wagon. Will BMW make one or do I have to resign myself to a 325xi (which is just unsat) or a 330i. Will they make a 330xi (sedan or wagon)? Enquiring minds want to know.

BTW I live in MI so that is why xi is appealing. And despite my wife's objections I actually think wagons are cool.

There's more posted on this if you search around, but as far as BMWNA is saying right now there will only be a 325xi in north america.

And yes, wagons are cool.

As are the 330iT, 330xiT, 530iT, 545iT,(and maybe even a new 550iT), but we don't get them in the US.

Hence my reference to the 530xi Touring, which you do get in the USA, although it is badged a 530xi Sportwagen for you.

Didn't know there was a 545xi Touring.

My mistake, they only make a rear drive 545 touring, and presumably will make a 550iT soon. The do make a 330dxt, 330dT, and 530dT, but not a 530dxT. Maybe it just wouldn't sell that way in Europe.

Of course they will make 330i and 330xi touring. Just like they had 330it in E46. No to mention excellent 330dT. Except we will never see them here in the US. Just like with E46.

A 530xd touring would probably sell well, if only it wasn't for the X3 and X5 diesels. Certainly the old 330xd Touring sold in healthy enough numbers to justify its existence - a 320xd would probably have flown out of the door if BMW had made one.
