Floor mats wearing out?

I have 70,000 on my '02 m3C and am on my fourth set of floor mats. Is anyone else having this problem?

Mein Auto: M3 ZCP on order!
I have had this problem on every car so I get the all weather (ie: rubber) ones. I am pretty sure that BMW makes them for the M3. Just like a carpet, the regular ones will wear out with extended use I'd imagine.

Well, think about it, at least you are wearing out mats, and not the carpet.

DO you ever clean them? Excessive wear normaly comes from getting dirt and/or sand in teh carpet fibers, which then cuts the fibers with pressure and movement.

cleaning

I could probably vacuum more often - once a month now.

I have an 'O2 also, and the driver's mat looks like hell, but I just bought a set of 4 on ebay for $90 instead of the dealer's prices.
