How to completely remove glove box (2003 E39)

After doing some research first in various forums and posts i've come to undrstanding that to remoeve the glove box completely from E39 (mine is 2003 530i) all you need to do is, lull off the clips on either end and slides forward and out.

However there are few places that mention also removing trim piece underneath.

On one site it also talks about, removing two nuts at underside rear of compartment.

If anyone has actually done the complete removal of glove box compartment and can share the exact DIY instruction (with photos if available), i would really appreciate it.

This link (http://www.e39garage.com/eurodash.htm) is for the Euro dash installation, but since that involves replacing the glovebox, I think the information is what you are seeking.
