Anyone move to a 545i from a 540i?

I have an 02 540 sport and I'm considering a 545i, has anyone made this move and what are you observations on the difference. I test drove one yesterday and was amazed at the difference in ride, much smoother and more linear power delivery. I compared my sport to an 05 with sport. Your opinions are appreciated.

Mine will be more dramatic: 2001 530i to a 2005 545i (ED on March 23!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I personally would wait for the 550i as the sport will have the active steering as an option. I am SERIOUSLY thinking of this car as my 05 530i is a pretty darn good car. Definitely will lease it as this car now is basically a computer

I like to see the opinions to that as well. The 545i had a cool feature of SMG at no charge...that is pretty cool.

The deals on the 545i are hard to pass up. One can lease an '05 545i for less than an '06 530i....

Haven't had a chance to do my full write up yet, but just returned from my European Delivery for my '05 545i. I got one incredible deal and also opted for the SMG. This car is simply unbelievable. For those of you who are curious, yes the 155 mph limiter on US spec cars does indeed work...
