M5 wheels on a 530i??
I would like to purchase the New M5 rims and have them installed on my 05' 530i. However, I'm not sure they will fit into the wheel well without rubbing on the fenders. The M5 rim specs are as follows: Front 8.5J X 19, Rear 9.5J X 19. The tire sizes: Front 255/40/ZR19, Rear 285/35/ZR19. Now I won't pretend to know what all these numbers represent. I just want to know if the rim and tire will fit and not cause any damage or change the dynamics of how the vehicle handles. One more question; What is an offset?

If your 530i has the sports package, the car already handles phenominal with its 245 front and rear tire as I have one of these cars my self (actually looks exactly like your avatar). I think that you will push your vehicle to its maximum limits 99.9% of the time so I would just go for it and get a decent set for your whip. |
