i just got a 92 325i manual and i was wondering what the expected 0-60 time should be

I'v seen technical specifications that have them at 7.8 seconds. I just got a 325 also.....about a week ago....and it sure is fun, much faster than I was expecting and just a blast around town. I don't know why it took me this long, I guess it just took a couple of test drives to enlighten me.
