killed a big wheel today

today I was at a taco bell out on the island and decided i would try the gordita for once...

A damn taco was $3.14.... But well worth it.... My car has only 184hp...however felt more powerful with the extra gas...

LAter that day!!!

I pulled up on a red light next to 2002 Big Wheel!!! He started to peddle and I hit the gas..... The light hit green i was half a car length infront of him... Oh yea keep in mind i have a steptronic transmission!!!

At around 35 mpg or so he caught up and was half a car length ahead of me then at around 45 or so i pulled infront of him..... got to about 65-70ish before we stopped because of traffic ahead....

I just cant believe how a toy like that cant out run a 2004 325i ....

Guess it all depends on the driver....

Oh yea the road had some turns i guess thats how he lost because those damn big wheels cant do anything but go on a straight road

What is up with all these big wheel drivers?

I pulled up on one of them at a stoplight...his chick was next to him, so I didn't want to do anything too crazy...but he starts gunning the pedals like he wants to go...

I gotta admit from a standstill those big wheels are pretty quick...this guy had sprung for chrome spinners on his...so I guess that's gotta slow him down a lil bit.

I dropped the clutch at about 4500 rpms...and we were neck-n-neck up until 3rd gear. Then I remember that I had ventilated seats. I pushed the button and the rest is history.

Thank God for vented seats! They make all the difference!

So he was running on a good can of Beanie Weenies instead of your Taco Bell?

Hey, I saw that same little punkass riding his Big wheel. He stopped at the light and had hydraulics too - his big wheel was bouncing up and down, and he had a boombox strapped to the back.

So I took a look at the kid riding the bike - and it was Stewie from the Family Guy!

Damn I can't find the picture. Anyone?

way to score a kill for b-fest man... bimmers are it

that gordita must have been 'nuclear' though to give you the boost and edge you needed since, dude com'on, its not every day a 325 can keep up with a well driven big wheel.

perhaps the big wheel driver had too much red bull or amp and just was too jittery to get the 'hole-shot.'

... and of course, it was over in the twisties once you had the jump on him. because, com'on even in the 21st century muscle machines like big wheels are just straight line warriors.

but, bra, how long did you have to air out the ride after such an explosive victory?

Ahh the Green Machine.

I still carry emotional scars from my childhood because my parents wouldn't buy me a Green Machine.

Surprisingly, I saw one at Toys R Us not too long ago...still VERY COOL.

LOL, sorry to open an old wound. Just take solace in the fact that I never had one either. My neighbor had one though. Ah, those steering levers...

I don't think I ever quite recovered from that.

Those steering levers are what made it.

Good think Hockeynut didn't run into a Green Machine.

Not only would he have been smoked on the straights, but forget about the cornering.

YOU TOO!!!!

Wow, there is a lot of Green Machine envy here...Myself included. I had a neighbor who could spin donuts with those steering levers. All I had was a bike

Not only could I loose him in the twisties, but when going off road I OWNED him

They didn't handle too well either. I remember tipping over more frequently than an SUV. Mine had the adjustable seat with the attached toolbox. I remember later ones not having the toolbox. The older models are always better, just like BMW. Of course, me and my friends raced ours pretty hard, so we had problems with the frames cracking eventually, a la E36.
