Headlight switch dash light
How tough is it to replace the dash light that illuminates the headlight switch on a '95 E36? I've had the car for a few months, the headlight switch has never been illuminated, but I'm sure it should be. Thanks for any help.

Remove lower driver dash (the one under the steering wheel, 4 screws total, 2 of them are on the underside), remove the know by pulling straight out (might want to use some double sided tape for leverage), then there's a hex-shape nut holding the switch onto the dash, remove that and the whole unit drop out from bottom. Then you can replace the bulb.
Installation is reverse of removal. |
