Radio Code Help !

I just got my 318i E36 back after getting a alternator, and when i turned on my radio it said "CODE" , i was just wondering where can i find the code for the radio.

I think you should be able to find them in your owners manual if it the original one that came with the car. If not, I think you may have to go to your local BMW dealership to find out what it is.

If you don't have the original radio code card, and it's not written down in the owners manual the radio needs to be removed for the information necessary to get the code. The only place you can get the code is at a dealership and you will probably need to show ID.
