Price over invoice in DC area?
I'm looking at a 530xi in the DC area. I've gotten quotes from two of the largest dealers for about $2700 off MSRP. Are others doing better than this? The car is likely to be a special order since they cannot locate one in stock on the east coast that is equipped the way I want it. I may ask the salesman to let me know what is available that has the options but different colors, assuming that the deal on an in stock model may be better than an order. I've considered ED, but it will be hard to fit that in to my schedule anytime soon although I have not ruled out a long weekend trip. Right now it looks like the US price is going to be $4000 or more greater than ED.
What are others seeing as far as the best deal on a 530xi in the DC area? John

530 xi w auto/premium/comfort seats/nav/sat/shades/cold weather about 1000 over wholesale cost noted elsewhere on this site but .0004 pt markup on lease rate over the .0014 buy rate from BMW finance and 200 over bmw lease startup fee of 625 lease on a 36 mo 15k/yr lease....no money down lease rate of 780/mo approx equal to 84 month finance at 4.99% thru bank
ordered yesterday and will try to neg lease rate once car is in and they can either take a reduce lease markup or i will likely finance thru bank good luck post your results

are you saying that you were able to do about $1000 over invoice or someone else? It looks like you are in VA, if so, what dealer have you been working with?

am in Germantown and just ordered 06 530I with Sports package, premium package, cold wheather with rear heated seats, rear sunshade, nav system, logic 7 premium mucic for 53K, November built

I was able to get a great deal at BMW of Fairfax over the weekend for a 530xi.

yes i am in va and i like rleg 75 above went to BMW ffx.. price as speced msrp incl freight = 57690 my price 53925 both plus approx 3.17% sales tax and 71 tags...279 dealer admin fee and 825 lease fee(if leased).
rleg and jjjkpc let me know how you do/did.

I'm looking at my lease docs....
My agreed upon value is 54,250 I paid 1st month, registration, license fees, dales tax & doc fee. I did a 36 month/12k lease. Payments are$675.84.
