Anyone in the UK had memory seats updated?
I've got a E91 that was built just before they updated the hardware to enable profile setting adjustments via the column stalk.
I had the memory seats option on the car but wanted them to remember the last setting used for each key fob. I understand that on the cars where profile settings can be changed by the column stalk, you can set this yourself (along with auto lock and DRLs). I've been back to BMW UK and my dealer and neither seem to have a clue (or want to spend much time finding out) if this can be done on mine. I've seen on some forums that the latest software update (CIP 19.3) should allow this function to be added by the dealer but haven't seen anyone in the UK post about this yet. Has anyone in the UK with an E90/91 that was built pre September 05 had this function added to their car? If so, please could you post the name of your dealer - I'll get my dealer to contact them and hopefully we might get somewhere! Thanks. |
