Received my new 2006 330xi

I just received my 330xi on 23 November 2006. Comfort Access is awesome! What a great option. I bought my vehicle using the military sales program while I was deployed abroad. Can anyone recommend the best cell phone to use with BMW's Bluetooth feature?

Unfortunately, that list is not very useful or helpful as it shows a lot of obsolete mobiles.

From personal experience, I would recommend the Sony Ericsson S710a. It is fully compatible and is a very good mobile.

Meant to also congratulate you on the 330xi. I picked mine up in Munich on 10. November.

You are right re CA - a terrific feature. What other options did you get? I got SP, PP, Styling 162 wheels/18" tires, rear shades, PDC, ... only things I didn't get were auto transmission (NEVER in a BMW), active cruise. Mine is Sparkling Graphite, Black leather, poplar.

motorola v551, i hear is pretty good. i had it synched when i took delivery in munich but i have not used the bluetooth function as it eats up a lot of battery.

Motorola RAZR V3 GSM works great!

Depending on your location where you'd use the phone. I am currently with Verizon so I use a E815 which I found very good phone and Verizon has very good coverage here. If my luck on money is here, I am looking to get a 330xi as well. Driving a rearwheel car in winter is pretty scaring even with snow tires.

I've had Sirius and power shades in my 5er - those, combined with Bluetooth, have made the car a lot of fun (not to mention how it handles with sport suspension).

Driving the 3er - with the Styling 162s - is awesome. Car drives like it is on rails. Going up and down mountains in Germany and Austria was a blast.

Which wheels do you have?

I went with the 17 x 8.0 Star Spoke (Styling 158) light-alloy wheels, 225/45R-17.
