Birth of a Sports Car - The Achilles Heel
I think part 3 was the most interesting. We actually got to see the cars we have being manufactured and shown. But the one thing never mentioned - and it seems as if everything else was in the three part series - was the iDrive. Why do you tnink that was?
I think it's because the iDrive, and specifically the Microsoftjunk OS, is the car's Achilles' heel.

Really enjoyed it too. Though I haven't seen #1 yet.
Could just be that the iDrive isn't really specific to the Sixer ...

I actually like the idrive. No major problems yet and it reduces clutter on dash. If it were an option, I would have ordered it.
Does anyone share this opinion?

Don't get me wrong. I like iDrive in theory. It's a great idea and has an easy, user-friendly interface. Sadly, BMW's execution is flawed.
