car battery location
help i have been trying to find the location of the car battery in 530i bmw. i have read that its located in the rear seat but how do i remove the rear seat when it does not fold. please respond asap

It is correct that your battery is UNDER your backseat.
Just remove the seating of the backseat. You have to pull the seating up. |

RE: car battery location
There are 2 metal clips, one on the right and one on the left of the bottom of the bench seat. Pry with a flat head screw driver at these points and the seat will break free. Then pull bench forward.

Don't jump start...
If you looking for your battery to jump start another car....I wouldn't recommend it. You could possibly fry your electronics doing so.
