760 li alternator
My '03 760 Li has only 25k miles and while driving one day, it died on me. It spent 7 days at the dealer. The alternator went bad they said. Also the battery. The dealer replaced the alternator with a remanufactured one. I asked why and they said it was impossible to get a new one. Is that true? I heard this is a common problem with BMWs.

Just had mine replaced last week along with the battery. Only took 1/2 a day for those items, did not fix the error code but at least i know they are new.
|
