Sounds like a reasonable deal with reasonable dealer profit built in.

Take that FWIW. I'm not in the biz or anything. I just happened to have purchased 2 BMWs in the past 12 mo and spent nearly 6 mo researching how to do that to my best advantage. Good luck. Can't wait to see your, "Got my new 750LI" post. |

Got another dealer down to 2.3% over invoice
Sports Package accounts for the $2910 Now heres the real question. How flexible is Bmw in taking back a leased car early? I currenly lease a 4.8is and would like to make the change to the 750li. I figured i haggle with them first with price then tell them. I really dont want to pay any penalities. Do you think BMWNA would do this? |

plazaman:
The 750 is a hot selling car and the deal you are getting is great. Regarding the lease takeover: The rule of the thumb is that they will take the car back but will charge you for the negative equity (your current buyout - current wholesale value). There has to be a reason for them not to charge your for that. Typically in BMW leases with high residuals, it is quite costly to get out of the lease early since your buyout price is much higher than the wholesale value. You might argue that you buying a 7 series is a sufficient enough reason for them to take your other car back. It does not hurt to try.

They will never get you out of a lease at fair market value, they will make more money on your X5 than on the 750Li, they will give you $3000-$5000 less than what the car is worth, try to sell it yourself and that is the best way, another way would be to go to swapalease.com if you got a good deal someone might take over.
The price you got is really good considering that there aren't too many 7s out ther, this month though a lot more 7s are in stock than last month. you can get a deal around $2000 over invoice. Also the car you are getting has too few options and does not sell very well, so they will discount it more. a typical 7 series that sells fast has $8000 in options and is either black or silver. an odd color with too few features is the only reason why you are geting such a discount. |

No one has the car in stock, has to be ordered.

No luck guys, my only option is to sell the truck to a private party for 64k!
