New 7 Series . . .
Well I have been talking about her . . .
Here she is finally....'02 745Li Toledo Blue / Natural Brown Nasca Interior.....shes a certified series with 45K (72K km's) from BMW dealership here in Toronto. . . Options: Convenience Package Soft Close Doors Automatic trunk opening/closing Self-leveling rear suspension Comfort Seats Winter Package 18" Standard Wheels w/New All Season Tires Heated steering wheel Heated rear seats. Park Distance Control. Logic 7 premium audio system.... and I think thats about it....  Got StoneGuard as , I do a lot of highway driving.... IMO its worth it

When I was driving the loaner before delivery of my 745....
I am sorry there is no one else but you guys that I can share this with......  It was an '03 325Xi also Blue/Beige....

Your 02 has a twin. My 04 is Toledo Blue, natural interior, but with dark wood trim. I just picked mine up from a dealer in So Cal, I'm in Oregon. I took delivery of the car in Las Vegas to avoid sales tax, what a fun drive home. I'll post some pix this weekend if your interested.

Beautiful car, congratulations. I am sure that it feels a lot nicer than the 750iL, I sold my 750iL after I got my 750Li and did not miss it for one day. Enjoy the car and drive safely.

I would love to see the comparison between the driving experience between the E38 and the E65.
I preferred the feel of the E65 much more than that of the E38. How do you compare the drive?

E66 vs E38

The E38 (750) feels more like a drivers car... because the steering wheel is much firmer and sporty feeling then the E66 (745Li) which is a gentleman's car I guess  Driving the E38 is more enjoyable since you can maneuver much better in it ...at high speeds and on curvy roads... then you can in the E66.....which I was very disappointed with....  which concludes that stability in my 750 is much better then the E66...However, the 745 is much more subdued then the 750 in terms of wind, road, engine noise....so thats a plus for the E66. The suspension on the 750 is much firmer then the 745... because of the latter attributes.. The performance is around the same... for both cars at 325bhp... but the 745 being lighter may have a faster 0-60 time but not as much torque as the 750... 330lbs (745) vs 361lbs (750)... but i guess if we compare the 760 with the 750... the 760 would win obviously w/438bhp and 444lbs torque..... Acceleration seems to kick in quickly as the gears downshift quicker on the 745 whereas.. the 750 has a slight pause... but then roarsssssss like a flying cheetahhhh  A problem with the 760 too apparently according to the latest review..... Acceleration: http://auto.consumerguide.com/Auto/N.../Act/Roadtest/ The technology and other new ammenities offered on the 745 obviously have an upperhand then whats in the 750... But 750's nav controls and other buttons are a bit more user-friendly then the I-drive... however thas not a big deal given some time and practice.. I will get used to it.... But in the end.... I enjoy driving both cars ...but at times there are small compromises between the two...and I guess I will have to drive the 745 a bit more... to see if there are anymore

I am suprised about the steering wheel comment. I had driven two-three 2000/2001 740Lis without Sport Package but with the MPars but the steering feel did not compare to my E39 Sports Package 525. Maybe it was the thickness of the steering but the car did not have the blend of precision and comfort which the E39 had. I found the steering feel of the E65 much closer to that of the E39. Granted, I did not and do not plan to push the limits of the E65 but in regular road driving the E65 steering felt much more like the E39 feel (which I loved so much).

Some more pics of my 7. . .
We surprisingly had a very nice winter here in Toronto this year.. so yes it was really that sunny and dry this day! but one can notice that the roads still have some of the salt stains....
 oh well at least it felt like an early spring....

My poor 3 series loaners!
The first 2 pics are from an 06' 325i w/ premium pckg....
The Last pic is from a 06' 330i w/sport pckg.... which can do more then wat u see close to 255 on a slope but hey i wasnt able to get that!!!O I jus luv driving the shyit out of these loaners BmW745On19's.... Man will I feel sorry for those who end up with these cars.. I mean
