Mein Auto: 2004 BMW Individual M3

Just re-read all of this, and I hope didn't come off harshly in this matter; that certainly wasn't my intent. This was recently the subject of an extended (and tiresome) debate on another forum, as the "good idea guys" quickly came crawling out of the woodwork offering 1,000 different (and mostly stupid) reasons why it would be a good idea to break the law and try to smuggle a CSL into the country, etc., etc. It was an absurd and pointless discussion, and one that I have seen come up time and again elsewhere.

I wasn't sure where this was headed, so it seemed wise to address it right up front. None of what I said was really intended as a shot across your bow -- and thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt.

Chief....None taken at all...even before my post.........I'm in the mist of catching up to everything here at BimmerFest as Hurricane Katrina took out alot of our comms..here in Louisiana...

If you're serving in Germany then I want to thank you...

as I just recently finished my enlistment in the Navy...

and if so...I'm jealous of your orders to Germany...ar$ehole

I'm just wierd in that way that I almost hate modifications...unless something that shakes a firm hand with BMW...i.e....Williams and even Turner...

Sorry...didn't mean to turn this post into any discussion about unlawful dismantling and rebuilding, shipment, etc.etc...blah..blah..blah...

ok, haven't been on the forum in a while and purchasing an M3 in the next week. From what I've read, it seems the best way to make this car a bit faster is reducing weight. The chip reprogrammers, CAI and exhausts (except for weight) are not worth the money. Is that a good bottom line statement?
