Assuming the upcoming X5 is going to have a 3rd row of seats, how would you compare the new X5 with the two other seven seater SUVs - Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90. The audi seems to be a very large and heavy car so I am not sure how well it will handle. The XC90 seems to be better in size and weight but then will a volvo handles as good as a BMW?

LeMansX5, thanks again. I am glad to hear that the new X5 won't be a bigger truck but I still hope that it can fit a 3rd row of seats in the trunk.

Not to beat a dead horse... but this is not a maybe. The X5 will be bigger, just not that much bigger (most likely a couple of inches wider and a few inches longer), and it will most certainly have a third row. I've been saying this for more months then I can remember... it's not a big secret. So everyone can relax... the next X5 will still be a typical kick ass exciting as hell SAV... true to form for BMW.

The upcoming X5 does look a little bit longer than the current one.

Sounds very powerful indeed.

Looks like the new Audi allroad will be out in March at the Geneva Show. If the new allroad also allows a 3rd row, then it may become another competitior (apart from volvo XC90 and Audi Q7) for the new X5, do you think so?

Thankfully. The rear lights remind me of Renault/Skoda/Opel station wagons.

LeMans, what are the chances of BMW showing a X5 concept in March at the Geneva Show?
