Question How much NA Hp can I get ?

Hi.

I am trying to decide between SCing my Euro 98 e36 M3 or buying an e46 M3 and going the NA route with it.

I am not after total HP, I know SCing the e36 will obviously win...I am more after a very quick car and I like the idea of a NA motor.

So with the e46 M3 NA route, I was wondering how much HP it is possible to get out of it, I am not to worried about the $$. With an engine rebuild, if that will make a big difference, possibly a stroker if the cranks are out there, more compression.......heads, cams anything else I can do to make it go hard enought to be a real alternative to SC it or the e36.

I know the CSL makes 360 Hp NA.......would it be possible to be looking at more than that ?

Cheers
Steve

NOwack in Germany gets 404 DIN on race gas. Only about $15,000.

If you've got a euro e36 m3 then the power isn't going to be much greater by getting an e46. Depending if you have the 321hp motor or the 286? SCing is cheapest, but you can absolutely get plenty of power na, depends how much you want to spend.
