I have a new family member
I have been reading this forum for years and have been waiting for the day that I get my E46 M3. Now...I can proudly say, I am one of you. Yesterday my wife and I picked up the newest addition to our family. We bought a CPO 2004 Carbon Black E46 M3. It is pretty much loaded. It has Cinnamon interior, Premium, Cold Weather, Adjustable Width, Lumbar, Navi, Xenons, Harmon Kardon, and PDC...the only thing it is missing is the 19" rims...something I can live without since it is easily swappable. I can't explain how I feel right now, but I am extremely estatic and I feel very accomplished. I just wanted to share my pictures with everyone, I had to take them first thing this morning:

Very Nice! And take off that warning sticker on the dash pass. side. I would advise taking the car back to the dealer, however, to take off the "passport' emblem, if yo choose to do so.

Thanks for the reply guys...and yes, I'm going to bring it in this weekend to get the sticker taken off...I told them not to put it on, I'm guess it just slipped their mind.
And BahnBaum, I LOVE THE COLOR TOO!!! I've been looking for a different color combo for months and saw this combo a couple weeks ago and fell in love. I guess everything just fell into place. Quote:

Please take care of it because if I don't get a 335 or E92 M3 that's the exact E46 M3 I'll be looking to buy so you might have a future buyer here if you decide to sell it in a year or two.
 From what I've read the changes they made to the 05 suspension just made the M3 softer and doesn't feel as "buttoned down." 04 was the last year of the more aggresive suspension & plus you get the LED tails which are very nice. Very nice car!
