My 02 745 seems to have hard time to accelerate...And it also seems as if the transmission is slipping...if anyone has any advice please share..thanks

Do you ride the brake? If/when you press the brake the transmission is decoupled and clutch engaged, that might be the issue if you drive with two feet, which you should never do except with a manual.

No i drive with one leg and plus i have an automatic...

Transmission Replaced under warranty
My dealership was nice enough to replace my transmission late last year. I took it in when i notice there was a delay in the transmission engaging during acceleration and a delay in dis-engaging when coming to a stop which caused a slight jerk.

software upgrade to the tranny should do it I had the same prob...

Go to the dealer, the car has 100K/6 year warranty from BMW on all 2002/2003 7 series
|

I dont have to pay anything to get the transmission changed if its under warranty rite???
