Ventura County Caravan? Meeting Place?

Since there is a much larger IE caravan coming and they will meet in Encino. Maybe we could gather somewhere convenient, where we can jump right on the freeway and join the caravan?

Hopefully once we pick a spot, we could arrange a cell phone call from one of the IE caravan folks when they are approaching.

Thoughts?

One thought may be here in Camarillo off Pleasant Valley/Santa Rosa Road. There is a "Park and Drive" lot where we could meet. It is on the southern side of the freeway, but it's a "right turn on a red" situation so we would not be delayed.

I'd be open to meet anywhere in Vta County, hopefully somewhere safe were a few cars could meet and have easy access to the freeway to join the caravan.

PM me here is you have suggestions for a meeting place, or are in the IE caravan and can make the call when you are approaching.

Edit: Maybe we could meet with the folks that are staying at the Ventura Marriott? Off the top of my head, we could leave the Marriott and meet at the very end of Main street in Ventura, just past the RV park. Plenty of parking room, not a busy road and clear access to the freeway on ramp, no lights or stop signs.

There's a group of us leaving the Ventura Beach Marriott the morning of the event, why not meet there? =)
