Unofficial Rally

Ok, i heard that the rally was cancled so I want to make sure that there will still be some form of a rally. Now Jon, you know that massave ammounts of people are going to be driving that route (I know I will) but possibly not at the same time. What I want to do is just have an unofficial rally either along that same route. If anyone wants to join me (and my friend in his E30) then let me know and we can organize a time. Thanks!!

somebody else posted something about it somewhere else

From what I've heard, plans have already been hatched and details are coming the day of the event. Organization has been kept away from bimmerfest.com because it is not a bimmerfest sponsered event.

Just info for those who may be driving the old route on SR-154. The CHP is conducting a DUI checkpoint on SR-154 in the vicinity of San Lucas Ranch, which is approx. 3 miles east of SR-246 (heading toward SB from the Santa Ynez Valley). The checkpoint will be running from approx. 1:00pm- 5:00pm.
