Pics - Purchased Used Eisenmann Race DTM from EvoSport

I purchased in a bidding war an auction piece from EvoSport an Eisenmann Race Muffler with DTM tips for $985. It is reported to have 6,000 miles off one of their race cars and stated to be in great shape. The only thing that I didn't like was the discoloration of the stainless steel but I suspect that occurs over time anyway and most likely not seen (car is lowered anyway). Is this correct? I researched the price of this new and they're around $1800 to $1900 +/-. Good deal? BTW, I know most aren't a fan of the DTM, I like them and it's not the run of the mill tips.

Can anyone assist with the following questions?:

Does the stainless steel cleans up? If so, with what CLR?

Given this is coming off a race car and it has 6,000 miles on it, is it louder than usual?

I suspect they all have a break-in period and then they open up?

Any reason why one section of the muffler is discolored from heat? Looks like there was a sticker on there?

It's authentic given the pics of the Eisenmann stamp welded on.

Any helpful comments appreciated. Pics follow:

Nevermind, I found some stuff that'll restore that baby to it's original luster. It's Blue Job Chrome Restorer and Polish. Bikers use it for their chrome and stainless pipes and I'm told the heated effects on this muffler will come clean. I've seen pictures of exhaust pipes that look the same and hopefully it'll work. If not, well no one will ever see the upside or underside of the muffler unless it's lifted. In any case I'm really pleased since I was going to get this same muffler new for twice the cost.
