Thinking of Buying...lots of questions...

Test drove both 330i and Lexus IS350 and decided I definitely like the BMW better. Now, here comes lots of questions, please bear with me.

Here is what I want:

06 330i, graphite gray, auto, Premium Package, Idrive Nav, Comfort access

1) Will I be able to find a car like this, or should I expect to have to order?
2) I added up the wholesale (invoice?) cost of this car and got about 39k. Should I expect to pay about 39k + taxes, etc for this car?
3) Are there any other options that I should consider getting? I omitted sports package because the price kept climbing.


I went to the dealer and drove a 330i with zpp, zsp, zcw, comfort access and the sticker was 46k. This seems very high. Please advise on dealer negotiations on price, options, etc.

Also, will the price of the 330's drop more as we get closer to september when the '07s are coming out?

Your answers are already here.

All you have to do is search for it.

1. Depending on your dealer stock, it shouldn't be too difficult to find the 330i you're looking for, as long as you're not picky about color. Most SG (sparkling graphite) 3-series tend to come with black lthr and burr walnut wood trim. If you're genuinely interested, PM me and I'll ask what's in stock here and see what options make it easier.

2. Once again, depending on your dealer, $1000-1200 over invoice is pretty common. Here I can get $800 over invoice on anything (ED, order, dealer xchange, or in stock).

3. I think you have more than enough options, unless you want heated seats for the winter months. Split fold-down rear seats are a nice feature.

Hmmm probably not and need to order, since Graphite Gray is not an e90 color.
I assume that you mean Sparkling Graphite.

RGRAY...I agree that if you searched you would find the answer's but if everyone searched for a question than there would be no more discussions after the first 90 days of a model year. Thus nobody would come back. If everyone at the office said look it up in the dictionary everytime you needed help spelling something it would make a long day at work. Sometimes when questions get re-asked people are able to add perspectives that was not available the first time around.

But some are asked sooooooooo many times.

I would consider ZSP if you can.....the wheel and seats alone are freaking awesome.
