Order of Pricing: E92, E91, E90?
Wow, all this excitement! It's getting me excited about the upcoming '07 E91 328iT. Based on threads on B-Fest, it should come to the US w/o X-Drive.
I'm wondering, based on the E46 models, the sedans (325's) were always least expensive. Does anyone (Jon? You have all the data/files?) know if the Wagon is priced between the sedan and the coupe? Or, is the wagon more expsensive than the coupe? Much Apprecitaed! Last edited by be-em-veh-808; 07-06-2006 at 03:29 PM. |

Hi Jon,
Any idea if there will be a mark-up for 335i? Would SB BMW do a mark-up? Thanks.

I think this was asked above...but no answer yet. Why no $75 sat prep fee and just the full $575 sat option? Are all the cars already prepped??

Sorta tough for me to speculate at this time; you've gotta figure that most Centers are going to want at least Monroney for the first few months of production... EDIT: Btw, the training fee has been around on BMW invoices since the late 1990s. Originally, the explanation that is was implemented to cover the cost of dealer communication systems for BMW (DCS), and BMWFS (Infobahn). Nowadays everything is Internet-based, so really, it's just a way to squeeze another few dollars of gross profit out of every new vehicle invoiced...

Nearly 2 grand though for NAV - WTF!
There's a serious increase for me with my options if I upgraded (and the convertible price isn't even out for a while) ![]() I think I'll sit with mine for a few years more

sedan pricing
Jon - Great work! Thank you for posting the invoice and retail 2007 3 series coupe pricing. Do you or your contacts have any information on when we might expect 2007 328 and 335 sedan pricing? I'm hoping to ED a MY07 3 sedan, but need to wait until I know pricing before I decide and order the 328 or 335.

328i
Nice to see that it comes with Xenon lights and the sport package standard - now it's just a wheel option.
Essentially, a 2007 328i equipped the same exact way as my 2006 325i is an extra $2,225. Of course, I got pre-July 2005 pricing which was another $500 less. All in all, I'll pass on direct injection, stick with my tried and true valvetronic and hold my breath for an M3 with a carbon fiber roof. 335i is an extra $6,710. If I were inclined to spend this much on a non M car, Dinan could probably turn that much cash into a similar amount of performance. $180 for training is crap! It's not $180/car to train someone how to rip you off. Last edited by westwest888; 07-06-2006 at 08:57 PM. |

I suggested 33k for the 328i and 38k for the 335i (sedans) in this thread five months ago: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12057
Based on coupe pricing, I can't be off by much more than $1000 (traditional sedan/coupe gap is about $1500), so we'll see. And wouldn't it be crazy if a 323i showed up suddenly by surprise? In any case, I suspect BMW is looking to open the sedan/coupe price gap a bit, especially considering the fact that the coupe has unique styling traits and interior/exterior color and trim choices. Plus, it's highly unlikely that the base sedan (if it is indeed the 328 and there is no 323 surprise) won't be more than $33,000.

yeah actually the breakdown is something like this:
7% less than the US MSRP = $37760 1250 over ED Invoice = $35610 savings of $2150 if you go with the 1250 over ED invoice. I actually am getting this from a dealer down here in SoCal::Ontario which BiggieJ has setup: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=152275 Quote:
