M3 possible Engine

Bmw already has a 5liter v8 power line for the 5 series and 7 series engine which produces 360hp i think.Although its more than enough for an M3 chassis, they will tweak it slightly to up it to 400hp perhaps, because the V8 360hp also has some massive 360lbs torque.Thats alot of torque my friends.I suspect 400hp will give around 400lbs torque.Power to weight ratio should be almost equal to a Corvette@400hp.Basically this thing will fly.
The other option ofcourse will be the smaller displacement 4.4i SAV®, with a 315-hp V-8 engine that the x5 usesp. That too can easily be tweaked to 400hp.
