Hardtop availability question

with the end of the production of the z3 does this meen that the oem hardtops will get harder and more expensive to find in the future or is the opposite will they get cheaper. ive looked into the hamann(*sp) and was very un impressed with the crude quality when it is purchased there is still prep work needed the edges need to be smoothed and filled and so on atleast going by the sales guy, but they do look good($3200.00). but right now i cant just go buy a oem one $$ short supply but i also dont wnt to have to pay double in the future im asking you all because im sure some of you have been around bmw's much longer than i so you have seen what the price of accessories do once a model is stoped production.
