Will M6 18' wheels fit Serie1 ?

Hello. My girlfried has an Bmw 116 and we want to change the wheels with some on 18' 8J from M6. Now we aren't sure if will fit the car and we don't know what tires to put because we don't want to have problems. I think that tires could be 245/40/18. Is this corect? Did someone put this wheels on the 1 Series? Thanks.

Currently I have 18x8.5 BBS wheels in the back with 245 tires in the rear if you have 265 along with 18x9's in the rear they would touch. I have a PSS9 setup. You may need to roll the fenders a bit if you plan on going with 255 or larger. Honestly speaking I think that 17 wheels feel better and drive better then the 18 wheels on that car but for looks the 18 in wheels look better.

I found M6 wheels on 18' with 8J front and rear. I know that it exists also 9J in the back but like you said there are too big and would touch. If you have 18x8.5 BBS with 245 tires means that the wheels I want will fit. Thanks for the answer.
