BMW Membership - Well worth it

You probably all know this - but a BMW CCA Membership ($76 for two years) gets you a $1,500 rebate on your next purchase. To qualify, your membership must be in place for a full year - and the rebate has nothing to do with the dealership. So you can negotiate your best deal - then complete the rebate form and send it in. They mail you a check.

Very nice. The web address is http://www.bmwcca.org.com

Yep, I have received several "rebates" from the CCA. I will say that if you are using ANY BMW "money" on your deal (i.e., the vouchers that BMW gave to early '02 owners), you cannot also get a rebate from CCA. In the end, both are funded by BMW and they will not fund two programs on the same deal.

I tried when I purchased my '05 745. I used a BMW voucher as "cash down," therefore my CCA rebate request was rejected.

I thought you could only do one rebate every year? Has that changed?

No the rebate policy is still the same. We have two memberships. One for me, and one (associate) for my wife. That entitles each of us to a rebate.

Fantastic idea! I didn't realize that the "associate" memberships came with their own rebate privileges. (I didn't get a rebate on our 325, since I received a rebate for the 650 not long before.)

Our origional sales person with BMW, back in 2002, explained this to us. It only stands to reason that if there is a reward program, then husband and wife (or significant other - don't wish to offend anyone) should be entitled to the benefit if two cars are purchased. They flog the benefit as a reason to join, thus, it should be provided. We have had three cars which qualified. A small price to pay for loyal customers.

From your info, looks like you own and will be owning three BMWs. I think I would make a telephone call regarding the third delivery, November. Common scense tells me it should qualify for the rebate, not with standing what the membership deal states. I hope you get your deserved $1500.

my friend used his rebate check to pay for lifetime BMW CCA membership. seems like a good idea to me.

i didn't get my membership in time so i guess i'll get my rebate with my next car.
