Treo 700p
I recently upgraded form a Treo 650p to a Treo 700p. Seems to work ok (call controls, speed dial list, etc..). The only problem I have is when a new call comes in, the caller ID on the iDrive display shows the phone number of the previous call, not the current call. The phone display shows the correct caller ID. This can cause a problem if your buddy was the last caller and a client (or wife) is the current caller.
Anyone else seen this? Any ideas?

gman,
Just got a '04 745Li, and I am loving it. I have a VZW Treo700p as well. I had heard lots o issues with the BTUM and the Treo. Are you using the BTUM? Did you have to do anything tricky with the phone to get it to work? I have had audio quality issues with B/T in general with the 700 vs the 650. Thanks in advance. |

I am not using the BTUM. I am using the integrated BT system in my car. My phone is a Sprint Treo 700p. No issues with sound quality or connectivity. Just the caller ID issue. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

AV Geek - Did you ever get your Verizon Treo to pair up? Mine initially worked - now the car won't recognize it.

Hmm...the car seems to have gotten over its initial hatred of the Treo 700 - and decided to pair with it again.
Why? I have no idea.
