E65 Predator Ice

So I installed my predator ice tonight and although the install was more tedious than I had expected, the effect is significant. The car looks sexy as hell but now I need the HID foglights to match. I'll try to post some pics of both day and night......feeling kinda lazy after that install. In your face TXSTYLE.....I told you! haha

Let me know when that light stops blinking though....

I spoke with Umnitza and they offered to replace my units if checking the harnesses reveals no problems. I am also going to try and reset the computer by unplugging the battery overnight. Please stand by.

I dont have a blinking light? I installed the predator ICE a few days ago. It just says that there is a light malfunction when you start the car up, then it goes away. I figure its cause the ICE is LED so the resistance is less than that of a incandescent bulb, so the computer thinks the bulb is blown.

I wouldnt unplug your battery overnight. Plan on making a trip to the dealer if you do that...

Yeah my interior led next to the headlight switch continuously blinks when I turn on the headlamps....it does not however when I just turn on the eyes or fogs. (it doesn't blink for the first 5 or 10 seconds but then blinks non-stop as long as I keep the headlights on) I'm thinking it may have something to do with the heatsink falling off during the install. It was loose apparently when I got it so I may be dealing with a bad connection.

What is wrong with unplugging the battery? Will it screw stuff up?

Fixed my light!!! Turns out a clip wasn't seated properly. Easy 5 min fix. Eyes look amazing.....The lights aren't super bright, but on a 7 series any brighter would border on ghetto. I love the look and will be installing my HID fogs soon. Pics to follow.
