Hi all, great site
I own a '97 BMW 740IL with a 110,000 miles. The owner's manual says that I don't need to change the transmission oil, but that seems odd to me. Should I be changing it, or should I trust the manual? Any input is appreciated. The car runs fine,and iam very happy with it.thanks

Welcome to the fest!
Check with your mechanic...some of these things are sealed and changing will do more harm that good, but others are called "lifetime fill" just so BMW can claim lower maintenance costs
