Looking to swap my exhaust for something a little more meaty sounding - AC comes to mind for anumber of reasons ...
The bulk of the rest of the changes on BabyZee are AC - so I could keep the theme going It keeps my warranty intact I like the look of the big "get lost" tailpipe But does it sound meatier? This is my key question - so I am seeking your opinions - it is going to be fitted to a 2.0 Litre DavidM (Webmaster of www.z3roadster.net) ![]() ![]()

ACS
I think you will like the exhaust. I have the short shift. this like all the ACS parts I have bought is of very high quality. I added the carbon interior this summer. Big job but looks great. Which wheels are you getting? I have the type III racing

Was a lot of work but it fit real well. Your shift is in the picture. Do you have a picture of the brake handle in your car? I am also looking for a picture of the ACS floor mats. Have you seen the ACS engine covers? they are real nice from what I can see.

I also have the mats on order - but my dealer seems to be having some issues getting hold of them - when I have them I'll post some photos Engine Covers - I havent seen - but I would love to as I fear that they would become a "must-buy" DavidM |

BMW Car Club discount
Many dealers offer a discount off BMW and AC parts and accessories for BMWCCGB members. The Club is currently engaged in a major 'adopt a dealer' drive in which members encourage dealers to display Club fliers and the fact the discount is offered.

How much does the ACS exhaust cost for the Mcoupe/Roadster? I love the ACS look. I have the B&B triflo exhaust but the stock looking tips and extremely loud tone are getting to the point where im looking for an upgrade. Thanks in advance.

Being that I could get ACS for 999, what would my B and B be worth? I would have to sell it to put money towards teh ACS? Also is there any market for my stock Mcoupe exhaust? Thanks again everyone!

Your B&B would prob.. sell for around $500... that would be my guess.. how much did your pay for it brandnew? i was thinking of going B&B also.. but how do you like that exhaust? other companies i know 4sure for our cars is.. remus, b&b, ACS, Hartge, eisenmann, hamann, supersprint, Dinan (ugly a$$ pos), i wish dinan made one with quad tips.. off the top of my head.. thats all i could remember.. ive researched all of them and all are priced very competitively.. please let me know your impressions on the B&b..

The B&B exhaust is a great exhaust, the fit and finish is first rate, it is, i've heard one of the lightest exhausts made for our cars, and it makes power. The two things that make me want to get rid of it, are the sound, it sounds great but its on the loud side, I assume thats why it is light, not much sound deadening, and I also want a more radical tip design. I paid 1000 for it about a year and a half ago. If you are interested in it let me know, Ill see what we can work out. Thanks for the input.

ey Jeff... dang.. i wanted the ACS.. but your B&B sounds very tempting.. i was looking towards the ACS.. but if your give me an offer i cant refuse.. then i might just take your B&B.. where are u staying at rite now? and 3 questions on your exhaust.. #1)is the exhaust still chrome looking.. like shinny.. or did it turn goldish.. i have seen many stainless steel exhausts do that.. #2)is it still a direct bolt on? or does it need to be welded.. #3)what kind of tips are they.. straight, DTM, etc... damn.. i really wanted an ACS.. but yours sounds so tempting.. and i wont have to save as much money for the ACS.. thanks jeff.. let me know.. know u got me all excited.. we'll see..

The exhaust is still in great condition, it still looks crome, not gold. It is a direct bolt on to the factory flanges. The tips are straight but cut at an angle. Ill get you some pics next week. How soon do you need an exhaust? I'm gonna have to dig up the rest of the dough for the ACS still. talk to you soon.
Jeff
