I dont see it here? I wanted to get an E46 European Delivery next year. Does anyone know when BMW NA will stop taking orders for E46 M3?

I believe they ended production in May/June of this year.

Get a CPO.

Wait till the new M3 is out and you'll see the value of E46 M3s plummet.

Too bad, I should have planned a little earlier.

i'm nervously excited for the new M3...supposedly an awesome performer, but BMW abandoning the straight-six is devestating...one can only hope the M guys come out with another inline-six car soon. don't get me wrong i love a good high-rev V8, but theres nothing like the sound and feel of an M tuned BMW 6

A 2006 E46 M3 will hold 63% of it's value at the 3 year mark with the release of E92 M3. It ranks as one of the best in resale value. The prices will not "plummet".

you can't say this until the car actually comes out. it's just speculation right now.

The E36s dropped a lot when the E46s came out. I don't think the E46 M3 is immune to that.

Agreed.

Anecdotally, prices seem to have already begun falling to some extent in anticipation of the release.

Yes, they have. My tentative plan is to snag one (Jet Black, 6-speed) for cash when the 2003.5+ models start to go for $30k, and I'm thinking that will happen within a year of now. Then I'll finance an 06 Z4 M Roadster and, with their combined power, I can rule the world!!!

Sorry, went power-mad for a second there. I'm okay now.

Maybe not as much as you think

The E46 S54 is the epitome of the inline six, so me thinks that the M3 will hold its value pretty well since BMW's six is so revered.

True, and even if E46 M3 resale gets slammed, what's the worst that could happen? You'd have to keep it? I could live with that.
