Day Time Lights

I have a couple of questions ive been wondering about in my m3...
1. How do you set the day time runners on?
2. Why when you turn on the high beams it emmits from the xenon, but when you flash your brights it uses the separate set of lights?

odd questions but I am curious

1)Dealer

2)Halogens are better for that quick burst of light without having to "warm up".

1.) True the dealer on someone with a GT1 will need to set this up for you. It is part of the keyoptions..

2.) Pretty much what is said above.. Now with Bi-Xenon I do not know why they did this cause technically you are using the same light for the high as you do the low and only moving the reflector. I rented a Z350 recently and it has Bi-Xenon which uses them for highs and flash to pass...

Well i guess the light was there and the headlamp assembly would look odd without it so they gave it a purpose.
