Navigation DVD Unlock

Now I know this isnt a conventional process, but does anyone know how to unlock the navigation system in order to play DVD movies, I know some people have done this beofre in Mercedes (why would I ever compare those to bimmers...) but I was wondering if it might be possible in my M3... Any ideas...

Here is a way to do it but it sure is an expensive way to watch dvd's on a very small screen whit the chance of driving right off the road. When it's on, it's impossible not to glance over at the screen. http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=642
