36 months will get you a better deal. The money factor depends in part on the car, the number of years of the lease term and your credit. .00241 is about the best, but it may be for 36 months. If you have that in hand when you go to your dealer, your dealer will beat it and offer you .00236 (again, depending on your credit), which means the dealer is getting it probably at .00230. So, everything is negotiable. The lender in both cases is US Bank. |

Thanks for the help.
In review of comparelease.com, your right, the 36 mo brings the m\f down to where you mentioned. I didn't realize what a difference the m\f is in relation to the lease term. Appears that if I want a 24 month lease then .0035 m\f is in where I'll negotiate from. |

The best lease is one for 3 years at between 15,000 and 16,000 miles a year. (It's 16 cents a mile with US Bank.) You want to turn the car back in with the warranty still in effect to avoid any end of lease surprises, like a new engine or SMG. The engine retails for over $25K! Only if BMW offers an extended warranty in the future should you consider buying or keeping for longer than the warranty period, or driving more than 50,000 miles. |
