I normally don't buy into such things but considering you can bargain with the dealer and get it for $1,195 and a brake job will cost you almost that it's prob a good deal. Of course that is if you plan on keeping your car for a while.

They'll try to sell it to you in the $1500+ range but you can argue and/or shop around to get to the $1,200 range. I simply asked and they agreed.

Who sold it to you in Houston for $1200.

Momentum is stuck on $1600!

BMW North.......... Momentum is the biggest rip off in town....... I attempted to deal with them them once and will never do that again. Between their arrogance and general rip off schemes.... no thanks.......

Remember you can get this extended maintenance at ANY bmw center in the country, not just local.

Got mine from BMW North also, ask for Travis Wright, he will take care of you. The extended is the best thing to have for this car or any of you plan on keeping it beyont 50k.

While you can buy the warranty anywhere....... The dealer does need to take a key reading in order to sell it to you. Unless you want to mail your key to a dealer across the country and hope they return it then I'd suggest finding a dealer you can travel to.

1. I'm not certain that you have to provide your key, but you do have to provide mileage and vin. Rodney O'Rouke used to sell extended mainteance and even set up a website to do so, it is still working per Adrian.

Don't waste your time anywhere else this is the best deal you can find.

$1200 for Extended Warranty or Maintenance?

Please provide the details for your $1200 extended warranty:

BMW or 3rd Party?

What are the terms for the coverage?

Thanks

Best buy is thru Rodney O'Rouke. you dont need to send your key anywhere, just give him your vin and current milage. purchased mine thru him, his price is the best!
Good luck!

Where is Rodney O'Rouke located ? I couldn't find him in the sponsors. My local BMW dealer wants $3K for the extended warranty.

Thanks

Laura - The people who suggested Mr. O'Rourke didn't spell his name correctly. Try this: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...89&postcount=2
