Hi All... New Bimmer owner here...

...New to ME, anyway!

Picked up a VERY NICE, 2003 530i Sport last Friday. Long story short, I started looking at VW TDI's (for the fuel economy), drifted over to an Audi A4 Quattro (because I liked the styling better, and the economy wasn't terrible), then at the urging of a friend, took a spin in a 325i. That nearly "drove" me back to the Audi (did I drive a "bad" Steptronic, or are they all that mushy??) Then, a 530i with a 5-speed turned up, and I was HOOKED! I'm LOVIN' it!!
Now I understand what all the hype is about the "Ultimate Driving Machine". If the 530i is this much fun, I can only imagine what the M5 is like. I think I can just make one out my horizon...

Car has 52k on the odo. Thanfully, the dealer I bought the car from was able to provide me with a comprehensive, low deductible, 3/36 "bumper-to-bumper" warranty. Being a first-time BMW buyer, I didn't want to take any chances, though the car looks to be very well maintained in every way.

Yes, I will be spending PLENTY of time in the E39 forum! Is there a better looking Bimmer? I don't think so...
