I received your email -- THANK YOU!

I am so swamped these days, literally up to my eyeballs managing event planning with my practice and other projects I'm working on. Sorry for my lack of responsiveness...

Regarding finding a booth for your car, your best bet would be to keep an eye on the growing list of vendors and see if any of them are suppliers for the parts on your car. Other than that I don't have any other ideas...

As far as helping out with the event goes, I really appreciate your offer. I will have a much better idea what will be needed as we get closer to crunch time, and I'd probably ask that you check in with Todd McWilliams as he is really my right-hand man the day of the event in terms of managing volunteers...

Okay, I talk to Todd every once in awhile so I'll ask him what he thinks I can help out with. I'm always there early anyway, so I figured I could help out. Maybe I could use me newly acquired SD BMW CCA VP position to gather some more CCA support.

We actually tried to get PTG there a couple of years ago, but in '05, we were able to have a car from TMS, TC Kline, 2 cars from Finlay and 2 cars from Automatic Racing.

In addition to the SigalSport Daytona Prototype, we hope to have a Turner car and my car should be there as well.

"This is an outstanding event for the Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW to be involved with" announced Emmanuel Lupe, Marketing Director for Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW.

"We are racing BMWs since November 2005 and our team went from racing M3s to now racing the only Dinan BMW powered car in the Grand-Am Daytona Prototype class. "Our goal is to invite Bimmerfest participants to join our team at the upcoming U.S. Sportscar Invitational delivered by Luggage Express at Laguna Seca Raceway on May 18-20, 2007. We are proud to carry the BMW colors in the Grand-Am Rolex Sportscar Series and our team and drivers look forward to meeting the fans at Bimmerfest on May 5th" added Lupe.
