You'd better hurry up, Ty. I put a deposit on mine shortly after the last fest and I won't be taking delivery until next month.

Cliff,
I can't wait to see your new ride. It looks like a few of us will be driving new cars to the fest. It would be a good freeway run between your car and my Alpina Biturbo. I got to sit in it for the first time on Thursday. Here she is undergoing the DOT conversion:

I can't wait to see your Alpina B10, Greg. I'll be doing an autox or two once I get my car, so we'll probably hook up at one of those.

edit: I'd need to lose the governor (and probably any common sense I possess) on my car for it to be a real contest on 101

Looks just fine to me!

Would really love to hear more about its history, and the process of getting it through DOT.

Thanks Cliff,
I was referring to the first pic. The BT did go 300KPH on the A2 in Germany and it was still had more. Here's a little clip where they only got up to 285KPH:http://www.euromcars.com/91alpb10/300kmh.mpg
So Jon, where does one park a car that so rare?

I'll have to think about that one. I know you get lots of requests for special parking for cars. There are so many rare, modified, and special cars that come to B'Fest. I really don't expect any different parking treatment than the rest.

You might have a shot at parking a trophy in the back seat though, Greg.

Not to be greedy but I would like two trophies in my back seat.

I should get so lucky.
