2004 BMW 745i new owner

Hello everybody,
I've recently traded in my 2006 BMW 525i to a 2004 BMW 745i (black, sport, executive package tan leather).It has close to 40k miles on it and looks like new.
Do you guys know of any iPod interface for E65? Also does this car have bluetooth?Any major concerns with overall reliability?
Car is due for pick up next Thursday. Counting the minutes down. After driving 745, 525 feels so humble.

I believe the Ipod is only available for production dates of 03/2005 and up so I am afraid there isnt any available for your car..at least this is whats true for the Canadian market

I will post some pics as soon as I get the car. In the meantime it looks like there is a ray of hope as my dealer said it might be possible to get an interface for me as my car is 03/2004. I'll keep you guys in the loop.

I think they have a nice black 760Li in the lot as well... it was a friends vehicle You should have gotten that too But it probably has high KM ..so you are better off anyways with the 745i

I'm probably purchasing a CPO 2004 745i 24K miles later this week. I must have iPod integration with NAV/iDrive. I'm happy to give up the CD changer in the dash if needed, afterall who needs CDs when an iPod holds thousands of songs. For now I'll stick with my Sirius portable FM transmitter but may in the future add the BMW sirius adapter.

The dealer I'm purchasing from has mentioned parts

65 11 0 403 650

51 45 7 142 112

but the sales guy is researching exactly what part(s) I would need.

I actually signed the deal off last Thursday. I've been their customer for 2 years and all I can say is: amazing service. Never been disappointed. I've got a very good financing rate: 2.4% for 60 mths. I know that 760i, it's still there in the showroom. Nice car, fair mileage on it (60K Km) but priced over my budget...plus a real gas guzzler. R U in GTA area?

Yes that means you have been a previous BMW financial customer which is why you get half a point off (one of my buddies got down to 1.4% )...congrats again on the great deal

Yes they are very hard to find, especially a CPO
Infact our 760 is not so much different on gas consumption from the 745 You only feel the difference, if you constantly accelerate and do mostly city driving...but its just soo tempting to accelerate in this car

No, I actually live north of GTA not very far from Woodbridge. You're right about iPod interface, not available for 2004 model, dealership confirmed it early this morning.

I'm hoping that I don't hear the same thing from my dealer. I said that iPod direct hookup is mandatory for me during negotiations so I hope the computer was right and it will fit in my car. I don't know the production date. If no iPod then I'll have to think about what happens next. I don't listen to local radio, either Sirius or iPod. I could live w/o iPod for a few months but eventually it must happen via direct connect, no FM transmitter or aux jack. Getting audio from the dock connector on the iPod is much better audio quality than the headphone jack on the iPod.

I had my 2001 330i hardwired with iPod, Sirius, and radar detector. My 745i will get similar treatment.

If it's a 2004 chances are slim you'd get a positive answer. I assume our cars don't play mp3 either?
