I will drive out there (hope my M) would actually hold up tho get a line of bimmers heading through the desert

there's typically 15-20 cars that make the drive from the Phoenix-area. It may be slightly less this year because ASU's finals are May 3-9.
But, we usually have two groups that depart from Phoenix: Thursday morning and Friday morning (to try to get into Santa Barbara before the afternoon rush hour). And then we all drive back together on Sunday.

anybody goto havasu on here? I'll be out there the week of the fest, coming home wednesday. hibernating thursday & friday, then saturday! god i hope my caravan works out.
