clear corner/sidemarker swap?

My buddy just got hold of an e36 ( 96 schwartze 328is) and wants to be rid of his clear sides and corners... likes the contrast of the amber with the black... and I have an arctic silver 98 318i sedan... can we swap , or am i deluded?

The sides might fit, but the corners wont fit.
2 door and 4 door have different tail lights and corners.

Haha. Nothing is able to be swapped.

Corners, Side Markers and Rear Tails are all different.
