Tire expierence & opinions wanted

I may need replacement tires shortly if I keep my 2004 745LI with 27,000 miles. Car has OE Dunlop Sport O1As 19's ( 245/45 ZR17s on front and 275/40/ZR19 on rear)

I like the summer performance of the Dunlops, but I live in chicago area and they are not-so-good in the cold/sleet/snow.

anyone tried the new Yokos Advan S4 all season high performance or other tires ?

all in & expierence appreciated...good/bad & otherwise

thanks

bob

i have yokohama advan sport (summer max performance) which replaced my pirelli p-zero rosso asimmetrico. considering how expensive advan tire is, i was expecting more. i will probably not buy it again. dont get me wrong, its a great tire, but i think my next one will be continental conti sport 2

i had the michelins primacy pilots as OE. I recently put on some pirelli pzeros (pleased thus far) and haven't noticed that much of a difference between the two. For this upcoming winter, I'm gonna run 18s. Last winter was my 1st winter with this car with the 19s - Needless to say, i will never run 19s in the snow again

porsche 997 tires

right now I am running michelin PS 2's..pretty darn good max perf summer tire ( at almost 5 bills each for the rear they should be). I ran p rosso zeros on my 996 and a number of mich, pirellis and bridgestones on earlier porsches.....newest PS2 s seem to be the best ( technology marches on I guess). what are you runnning ?

by the way, just took the easy way out..put the O1As on the 745

Dunlops suck. I had Michilins on there and they were good. I have Contis on there now and I love them. Great grip in dry and wet and very comfortable ride.
