Buying a Extended warraenty for 745 over 50k?

My brother just bought a 04 745il with 54k miles on it. He wants to get a Extended Service Contracts & Maintenance the service adviser said he will sell it to him , but the key reading reports the miles. The adviser suggested us to find a work around online for it, do you guys know any way around it? I was thinking buying a used key of ebay and reprogramming it. Any help will be appreciated.

you can get the extended warranty after you go past the 50k mark....my SA said that it would cost 1500$ for a 50K ext warranty. No matter how you look at it its definately worth 1500 because if you have one major problem after 50K the ext warranty pays for itself.

i just replaced my own brake rotors and pads with , cross drilled and dustless pads myself. Total parts on pads and rotors around 500$.

IMO if you know how to do stuff yourself the Maintence warrenty is worth it. BMW only will service your car when the the computer says its time. Out of that time period how many times will teh car actully be serviced?
